This agreement outlines Eponymous Garden terms conditions and policies. A copy must be signed and returned along with the deposit to confirm your reservation. GUEST INFORMATION Eponymous Garden at 1202 Garden is a hosted guesthouse; the owners and a small, friendly dog are on the premises. Each room is limited to 2 guests, unless approved by Eponymous Garden. Rooms are prepared for guests prior to check-in. Kitchen equipment including microwave, gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware, dishes and miscellaneous utensils are provided. Meals are not provided. Daily maid service is not provided. Clean linens will be provided after every fifth day or upon request. Washer/dryer is available for guest use, but clothes must not be left unattended. A two-car driveway and street parking are provided.CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT Check-in is at 3PM and check-out is at Noon. However, luggage may be stored for a late departure. Check-in can be earlier than 3PM by making prior arrangements with Eponymous Garden.MINIMUM STAY For most of the year, a minimum stay of 2 nights is required. For special events and holidays, a longer minimum stay may be required. Requests of less than the minimum stay are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to an additional cleaning fee. RESERVATIONS To reserve a room at Eponymous Garden, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required and payable by personal check or through Paypal. There will be a courtesy hold of 4 days when a reservation request is received. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of deposit by email with attached deposit receipt. Balance is due upon arrival and is payable by cash or through Paypal. For special events, holidays and extended stays of longer than 5 nights, a deposit of 50% may be required and balance must be paid 30 days prior to check-in. MEETINGS If you would like to schedule the living room, kitchen, dining room, porch or patio for a gathering, please contact Eponymous Garden for prior approval. Meeting reservations are subject to a cleaning fee based on the space used and the number of guests. GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES The individual that secures the guest room reservation will assume responsibility for loss or damage to any furnishing, linens or equipment. Noise must be kept to a minimum. Quiet hours are between 11PM and 8AM with the exception of designated or approved events. Guests under the age of 18 must be approved by management. Children are not allowed in public areas unsupervised and need to be accompanied by an adult. Smoking is not allowed in the house. Smoking is allowed on the porches, verandas, patios and balcony. Small dogs are allowed at the discretion of Eponymous Garden. Guests will be responsible for cleaning up after their dogs both inside and outside. Supplies are provided by Eponymous Garden. Public and private space—your room is your private space and we ask that you maintain it reasonably clean and orderly for safety and health purposes. Public areas will be free of any belongings of the house guests. Please respect the guesthouse and its contents as if it were your own. We expect that all guests should treat other house guests with dignity and respect. All house guests will respect the rights and privacy of others and the need for general orderliness and cleanliness. HOT TUB/SPA Hot tub/spa is unattended. House guests use the hot tub/spa at their own risk and liability. Children are not allowed in the spa without adult supervision. Water in the spa should never exceed 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).Since excessive water temperature has a high potential for causing fetal damage during the early months of pregnancy, pregnant or possibly pregnant women should limit spa water temperature to 100 degrees F (38 degrees C). The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication before or during spa use may lead to unconsciousness with the possibility of drowning. Persons suffering from obesity or with a medical history of heart disease, low or high blood pressure, circulatory system problems, or diabetes should consult a physician before using a spa. Persons using medication should consult with a physician before using a spa since some medications may induce drowsiness while other medications may affect heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation. HYPERTHERMIA: The cause, symptoms and effects of hyperthermia may be described as follows: hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level several degrees above the normal body temperature of 98 degrees F. The symptoms of hyperthermia include an increase in the internal temperature of the body, dizziness, lethargy, drowsiness and fainting. Glass containers are prohibited in the hot tub/spa area.
